Fans of OWN’s Love & Marriage: Huntsville were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of cast member Keke Jabbar at the young age of 42. The question on many minds since the news broke has been: who died on Love & Marriage Huntsville, and what were the circumstances? Now, official reports have revealed the heartbreaking cause of her untimely death.
According to an official autopsy report from the Alabama medical examiner, Keke Jabbar’s death was caused by carbon monoxide poisoning. Details from TMZ further revealed that Jabbar had a critical level of 64% carboxyhemoglobin in her blood. Carboxyhemoglobin is formed when carbon monoxide is inhaled and binds to red blood cells, preventing them from carrying oxygen. For non-smokers, normal levels are below 2%, and anything exceeding 20% is considered critical and life-threatening.

He sees Keke, what he thinks is asleep in the car,” Prosperity Thickgirl40 recounted. “He tries to get her attention. He opens [the car] up. She isn’t breathing. Her husband, her life partner, her best friend tried to bring his wife back, the mother of his children, and he couldn’t … Keke passed from carbon monoxide poisoning. That’s it. That is all.”
